Reading List

glee - rachel/puck
So, I've gotten back into reading lately. I don't know why, maybe it's my mother's fault. She had just finished listening to the book 'Cradle And All' by James Patterson, and she gave it to me, saying that I would like it. I've been listening to it, and indeed, I do like it. So I've decided to make myself a list of all the books I would like to read. Hopefully I'll get reading soon.

This is pretty much just for my own benefit, but if you're curious, have at it.

1. 'Cradle And All' - James Patterson
2. 'Wicked' - Gregory Maguire (I'm currently in the middle of this one)
3. 'Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister' - Gregory Maguire
4. 'Mirror Mirror' - Gregory Maguire
5. 'Son Of A Witch' - Gregory Maguire
6. 'Angels and Demons' - Dan Brown (I started this once upon a time, and didn't get far in it, but I would like to continue it.)
7. 'The Da Vinci Code' - Dan Brown
8. 'Lost: A Novel' - Gregory Maguire
9. The Women's Murder Club Series by James Patterson (so far, there are five books in it)
10. 'A Density Of Souls' - Christopher Rice
11. 'The Snow Garden' - Christopher Rice
12. 'Light Before Day' - Christopher Rice

Wow. That's a shitton of books, haha. A few of them I have easy access to ... like 'Cradle And All' I already have in the audiobook format, my mother got it from the library. So I'm listening ot that right now. 'Wicked', I own that. I bought it awhile back. My friend Bev owns 'Mirror Mirror', so I can just borrow that. I already have 'Angels and Demons', so that's easy. And my friend Tim has all of Christopher Pike's novels. So ... I think I might have to pay my fines to the library, haha. And then get better with returning things on time. We'll see!

I was reading "Angels and Demons" but stopped a few weeks back. It's actually really good.

Yeah, I started it awhile ago, but it was really slow to start. And I'm really bad with waiting for things to get interesting, haha. So I'll have to force myself to read it, because I heard that once it gets going, it's really good.

Good choices. Especially the Gregory Maguire and the Christopher Rice. A Destiny of Souls was one of the most beautiful books I ever read. You will not be dissapointed.

My friends Beverly, Tim, and Ray all read that, and they loved it. So as soon as Ray finishes it (he's still in the middle of it) I'll probably get the copy of it from him.

I lent them to a friend of mine in HS and she actually wrote her senior thesis on two of them and the use of water in the books.

That's pretty awesome. I'm excited to get started on this list ... I already finished 'Cradle And All' by James Patterson last night, so I'm going to attempt to finish Wicked next.

Wicked is great. Quite different from the play (much more adult in nature), but great.
